The Line operates with a financial model made up of diversified business programs, including membership; major donations from individuals, organizations, foundations, and corporations; corporate sponsorships; events; and other revenue streams. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in the State of Texas and governed by a volunteer, independent board of directors. Editorial decisions are made by our journalists alone and are not influenced by donors, partners, or Baylor University.
