Baylor University Celebrates Significant Year of Fundraising in Give Light Campaign

University surpasses initial $1.1 billion campaign goal in FY22, while showing continuing progress in scholarships, faculty endowment and capital priorities

Baylor opens the season on Sept. 3 with a 6 p.m. home game versus Albany at McLane Stadium. The Bears are scheduled to open their fall preseason camp on August 4.

New program at Baylor walks students home at night

Students can pay either a monthly or annual fee to meet walkers who will take them to campus dorms or nearby apartments throughout the school year.

Baylor chemist leads $1.3 million research project

A Baylor University chemist has been awarded a $1.3 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to take dramatic steps to open chemistry classes and labs to students with blindness or low vision.
