Bears win Big 12 ChampionshipAfter winning just 2 games in 2020, the Baylor Bears are the Big 12 Champions! Baylor jumped out to a 21-3 lead and held on for dear life through the second half, defeating Oklahoma State XX-XX to win the 2021 Big 12 Football Championship, 21-16. |
Bears win Sugar BowlSweet sweet victory! The Baylor Bears (12-2, 7-2 conference) defeated the Ole Miss Rebels (10-3, 6-2 SEC) in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on January 1 to start off 2022 with a victory. |
Baylor joins R1 institutionsThe December announcement from Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education that Baylor achieved this designation came three years ahead of expectations and marks a remarkable achievement in Baylor’s research endeavors. |
Spring semester will begin in-person, despite doubtsIn December, Baylor admin advised students and families to prepare for the possibility of the spring semester to begin as scheduled but on an online basis for all classes until Tuesday, Feb. 1. However, the university reversed course and announced campus would begin reopening as scheduled. |
