Former student sues Baylor over fall on icy sidewalk

Aaron Ali, a junior history major from Grand Prairie, is seeking at least $200,000 in his lawsuit, filed against Baylor in Waco’s 414th State District Court. After falling during the February 2021 ice storm, Ali claims in a lawsuit that the university is responsible for his injuries. (Possible Paywall)

Byron Johnson, Distinguished Professor of Social Sciences at Baylor University, will lead the next installment of the President’s Speaker Series on Thursday, March 10. Johnson is a leading authority on the scientific study of religion, the efficacy of faith-based organizations, and criminal justice.
