Dia is back!

In her weekly Presidential Perspective letter, Dr. Linda Livingstone had some exciting words for the return of the long loved Day of the Bear celebrations. “After two years without this annual spring celebration, I can’t wait to enjoy a day of fun on campus with you this Tuesday, April 5. [This] is a time to slow down from the busyness of the semester, connect with friends and colleagues and enjoy being together as a Baylor community – students, faculty and staff. Next week is the 90th anniversary of this wonderful tradition, and our Student Activities Council has brought together some all-time favorite events and a few activities that connect back to the early days of the celebration.”

Step up with Steppin’ Out

This Saturday, April 2, 2022, is Baylor’s annual Steppin’ Out service day. A day where Baylor students “step-out” and serve the local community. But service isn’t just for students. You can make a difference tomorrow, as well! What better way to support Steppin’ Out, then by getting involved with the clean-up efforts from last week’s devastating tornado in North Austin? The Austin Disaster Relief Network is looking for volunteers to help with labor as well as build kits for tornado survivors. • Pick up trash at a local park
  • Round Rock Area Serving Center
  • Round Rock Chamber of Commerce, Tornado Recovery
  • Create care packages for the homeless and deliver them around town. Items to include, but not limited to: socks, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, non perishable food item, small water bottle, etc.
