About Bob Darden
Robert F. Darden is Emeritus Professor of Journalism, Public Relations & New Media at Baylor University.
He is the author of nearly two dozen books, most recently Soon & Very Soon: The Transformative Music and Ministry of Andrae Crouch with Dr. Stephen Newby for Oxford University Press.
He is the founder of the Black Gospel Music Preservation Project/Gospel Music Archives and received a host of awards for his teaching and research, including Master Teacher, Cornelia M. Smith Award for Outstanding Teacher, and the Minnie J. Piper Award as Outstanding Texas Professor.
